مريم هي يتيمة مع وجود أب غير مبال ولا رحيم و أم مهملة أصبحت مطلقة حديثا، لتزداد حالة مريم سوءا و تدهورا ،فهي الآن تعاني من مشاكل نفسية بجانب مرضها المزمن. تحدثنا مريم وعيونها مليئة بالأسى وصوتها مختنق لا أحب المدرسة وأخشى أن يغمى علي فيها لاني كثيرا أشعر بصداع شديد ولا أجد اهتمام أيضا هناك.
